Yes, we are taking birthday party bookings again, in a COVID-19 safe manner. You can book a private session (the whole play centre, just for you and your guests) for your child’s party as follows:
Step 1: Select a preferred date and time slot (we offer 2-hour sessions) for the party. Either 9:15am or 2:30pm. We recommend booking your party at least three weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
Step 2: A private hire booking consists of a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 20 at £12 per child. This includes entrance, food, drink, and playtime. You are welcome to bring a cake, party bags and decorations.
Step 3: We need to know:
1. The preferred party date
2. Whether the party is for a boy or girl and their age.
3. How many children and their accompanying parent(s).
4. Catering: The choice of meal is one of the following:
a. chicken nuggets, fishfingers, sausages, pizza or vegetable fingers (all served with chips)
b. Cold buffet of sandwiches, mini sausage rolls, cocktail sausages and crudités and a fruit platter.
c. American pancakes with fruit served with yogurt (great morning option)
We also have delicious meals and hot drinks for adults, which can be purchased on the day or alternatively if you wish something specific for the adults, we are happy to discuss and cater.
Step 4: We will need your email and mobile number to invoice you for your private session. Once we have received a £50 deposit your session will be booked. The balance of the invoice is due three days before your party. (Failure to do this will result in the loss of your deposit and the session will be released to the public)
Step 5: One week before the BIG DAY, we will contact you to confirm numbers attending and take your food order.
Step 6: THE BIG DAY! You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes before the party to put up decorations (please no confetti) and sort out your cake and party bags. Our staff will be available to assist.
Children play downstairs for about an hour and fifteen minutes before being taken upstairs to enjoy their party food in our party room.
We ask that all shoes, coats, and other belonging are taken with to enable us to clean downstairs before the next session.
The normal rules at KidzZoo need to be adhered to with regards to Covid restrictions. Adults are asked to wear facemasks if they are moving around the play centre but are welcome to remove these when seated at tables. There is hand sanitiser dotted around the play centre. Parents are welcome to go on the playframe with children and are asked to wear a facemask and socks must be worn while on the frame. All guests are required to scan the track and trace barcode upon entering the premises.
Our soft play is sanitised before and after every play session. All tables and surfaces are cleaned as well as the play frame and soft play. We also use chemical fogging as part of our sanitisation process.
We hope these measures give our customers’ assurances that we have taken every reasonable precaution to create a safe environment for children to play, which is so important for their personal development.
